Hope Needs People, Not Spectators.

The Hope Center has no building and no paid staff. Volunteers, mentors, sponsors, and donors make every free event possible for 3rd-12th graders in DeSoto County.

If you can show up, write a check, feed a room of kids, or open a door at your church or school, you can help.

Every dollar and every hour goes to students: food, games, materials, leadership events, and mentoring.

Nothing goes to overhead.

Four Ways to Help

Welcome_edited

1. Mentor a student
Be a consistent adult. Start in group events, then 1:1 when the match is right. Background check and orientation are required.

2. Volunteer at events
Help with setup, food, check-in, games, and hospitality. Perfect if you care about the mission but aren’t ready to mentor yet.

3. Sponsor an event
Underwrite a Saturday: food, merch, supplies, or the whole event. Your name can be on the table that feeds kids.

4. Give a gift
Mail a check. Give online. Sponsor snacks for one event. Cover materials for a semester.

Sponsor an Event

Our outreach events are free to students because someone else paid the bill.

Sponsorship can cover:

  • Food and snacks for one Saturday

  • Hope Center merch for students

  • Games, supplies, and materials

  • A guest speaker or leadership activity

  • A full event

Tell us your budget. We’ll match it to a real need—not a made-up package.
